Campania ~ Asprinio

The Asprinio vine spread mainly in Campania, in the Caserta area, dates back even to the Etruscans, and is still traditionally grown on monumental trees, a type of cultivation directly borrowed from this mysterious population.

This system leads the vines to climb, married to poplar or elm, up to about 15 meters in height, providing imposing green barriers, full of grapes, which must be collected on very high stairs. A real marriage.

I hope that what I'm telling you inspires you to come and see this town, it's worth traveling five hundred leagues to see it.
