Frappato is a native black grape variety of Sicily. Of ancient origins, the first certain news dates it back to the 18th century, coming from the Iberian peninsula.
Frappato wine has a brilliant, clear and transparent ruby red colour. Its scent is intense, fruity and floral.
On the palate it is medium-bodied and has crunchy aromas of red fruit: it is fresh, harmonious and mineral, with balanced and soft tannins. Alcohol content 13%
